About Me

Head Royce alumnus, student at Claremont McKenna College, honors math track, studied abroad in Spain, fluent in Spanish, studied at Wharton Global Youth Program: Start-up culture and innovation, Rubik's Cube Club leader, ambassador on the Alumni Committee (at Head Royce).

Why this topic matters to me

Ever since I accepted the responsibilities of taking care of my own dog, I have had to adapt and learn about the crazy amounts of attention and care that they need. In my ninth-grade year in high school, I became infatuated with dogs. I wrote my 12-page long I-Search research paper on the evolution and behavior of the Canidae family, specifically the domestication and adaptation of dogs across the world. All of this is to say that my love for dogs, and pets in general, stems from an inquisitive and loving place where I find meaning in caring for them.
